Scope of Notice
This Website Privacy Notice describes how Nursing Program Excellence Group, LLC (“NPEG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information received through NPEGConsulting.com and related NPEG-controlled website forms, scheduling links, resource requests, and business inquiries. This Notice applies to website and prospective-client interactions; an executed consulting agreement may contain additional confidentiality, data-security, and records provisions governing an engagement.
Information We Receive
We may receive information that a visitor voluntarily provides, including name, professional title, organization, email address, telephone number, scheduling information, business inquiry details, and the content of communications. We may also receive limited technical information ordinarily generated when a website is accessed, such as IP address, browser/device information, referring pages, and basic security or server logs, to the extent collected by NPEG or its service providers.
Sensitive Information and Student Records
Public website forms, ordinary email, and scheduling tools should not be used to submit student education records, personnel records, protected health information, Social Security numbers, financial-account credentials, passwords, authentication credentials, confidential accreditation evidence, or other sensitive individual-level information unless NPEG has specifically requested the information through an approved secure process. NPEG may delete, decline, return, or require de-identification of unnecessary sensitive information. NPEG does not intend its public website to function as a repository for FERPA-protected education records or HIPAA-regulated protected health information.
How We Use Information
Information may be used to respond to inquiries; schedule consultations; evaluate prospective engagements and conflicts; prepare proposals; provide requested resources; administer client and business relationships; operate, secure, and improve the website; prevent fraud or misuse; maintain appropriate business records; and comply with legal, regulatory, insurance, accounting, tax, and contractual obligations. NPEG does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
Service Providers and Business Systems
NPEG may use service providers for website hosting, domain services, business email, scheduling, cloud storage, document exchange, security, accounting, banking, payment processing, communications, and similar operational functions. Such providers may process information on NPEG’s behalf under their own contractual and privacy terms. NPEG seeks to use reputable providers and to limit information shared to what is reasonably necessary for the applicable function.
Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies
The website may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for site functionality, security, scheduling, or user preferences. If NPEG later deploys material analytics, advertising, behavioral tracking, lead-capture, or comparable technologies beyond basic operational functionality, this Notice should be reviewed and updated before or when those technologies are activated, and any consent mechanism required by applicable law should be implemented.
Data Minimization, Retention, and Security
NPEG seeks to collect and retain only information reasonably necessary for legitimate business purposes. Information may be retained for the period reasonably necessary to respond to an inquiry, administer an engagement, preserve business and legal records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal, tax, insurance, or professional obligations, after which it may be securely deleted or anonymized when appropriate. NPEG uses administrative and technical safeguards reasonably appropriate to the nature and scale of its operations; however, no Internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Security Incidents
NPEG will address security incidents involving personal information in accordance with applicable law and contractual obligations. Where Ohio Revised Code Section 1349.19 applies, required breach notifications will be made within the time and in the manner required by that statute. This Notice does not create a contractual security warranty, guarantee, or standard beyond obligations imposed by applicable law or an executed agreement.
Disclosure Required by Law and Public Institutions
NPEG may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, subpoena, court order, governmental request, professional obligation, or to protect NPEG’s legal rights. Information that a visitor or client submits to an Ohio public institution may independently become subject to Ohio public-records law. NPEG cannot control a public institution’s records obligations, and a confidentiality or proprietary designation does not by itself determine whether a record is exempt from disclosure.
Third-Party Links and Services
The website may contain links to third-party websites or services. NPEG does not control and is not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or availability of third-party services. Visitors should review the privacy terms applicable to those services before providing information.
Children
NPEG’s website and consulting services are directed to colleges, universities, nursing programs, educational organizations, and adult professionals and are not directed to children. NPEG does not knowingly solicit personal information from children through the public website.
Changes to this Notice
NPEG may update this Notice prospectively as its website, business systems, service providers, or applicable legal requirements change. The version and effective date posted on the website identify the notice then in effect. Material changes will not retroactively alter obligations contained in an executed client agreement.
